I am at a loss as to how to rate this book. On the one hand I enjoyed it. On the other hand there were things missing. The missing thing? Worldbuilding.
The Final Days of Magic is the third and final book to The Witches of New Orleans trilogy.

A while ago I read How to Train Your Dragon and while I found it enjoyable I didn’t really care too much about it in the long run. When I heard she had written The Wizards of Once I immediately knew that this was going to be much more up my alley. And I was right.
Last year I really enjoyed The Bear and the Nightingale but didn’t quite fall in love with it. Now however I already knew the world and the characters. The Girl in the Tower delivered for me. It was all about the characters.
There were various reasons that got me excited about this anthology, not the least of all the female voices that told the stories. Was this anthology all I wanted it to be? Probably not.
