Otillie Colter is an excellent middle grade fantasy trilogy!
The Copper Cat trilogy by Jen Williams is a great fantasy series I highly recommend.
Wintersong and its conlusion Shadowsong are an interesting mix of retellings: The Erlkoning, Labyrinth, the Goblin Market and the tale of Hades and Persephone. I was wary of this duology and I had every right to be as it turned out, but I still enjoyed it to a point.
Three years ago I read the Seraphina duology. Here are some reasons I loved it.
Locke & Key is a fantasy horror graphic novel told in 6 volumes by well known Joe Hill and illustrator Gabriel Rodriquez.
If you follow this blog a little longer you might have noticed that I have a small manga collection on my book shelves. When I was in high school I was a very big manga fan and read a lot of different ones. But as I grew older I didn’t quite have the time to keep up with the new releases and now books have taken over a lot of my time. Still from to time I enjoy (re)reading a manga. Especially when it is by CLAMP.
A duology that has been highly praised, but can it live up to those expectations?
