How did I like Trail of Lightning that I read for the #wyrdandwonder readalong?
The Fever King is a hard hitting young adult book not to be treated lightly.
White Stag left me feeling a little mixed overal. There were certainly a lot of elements that I enjoyed but there were others that were a bit too much for me overall. Even so I think it is a solid read overall.
I got this book about 2 years ago I think and even got it signed at the time but rarely made any time to read it. This sci-fi month I finally sat down for it and finished it in one sitting. I’m glad I finally read it. I enjoyed it, but afterwards I did realize there were some flaws to the whole.
There were various reasons that got me excited about this anthology, not the least of all the female voices that told the stories. Was this anthology all I wanted it to be? Probably not.
