The Galaxy, and the Ground Within is another spectacular read. Not for the plot but for the characters that find each other.

Not just the synopsis of Warp Gate Concerto was out there, the actual story was way out there. But I think that is fitting for a sci-fi novella. Science-fiction should be a little out there.
Bitter Twins, a devastatingly good sequel to The Ninth Rain by Jen Williams.
A book with a gorgeous cover and an interesting plot where we need to save one person that will save us all. Unfortunately I did not get a whole lot more from this book than this.
Revenger was a surprising action-packed space adventure, a thing I wasn’t expecting after the first few pages.
Only Human is the conclusion to The Themis Files by Sylvain Neuvel. A series with an interesting approach to storytelling, through interviews and documents. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the first two, and while I also enjoyed this to a point, in the end it left me feeling a bit meh.
One of the most anticipated releases of 2018 has to have been the third Wayfarers book by Becky Chambers. Was it a disappointment? No. Was it different from the other two? Yes.
