October is also known as my birthday month. But it wasn’t just my birthday. Various friends and family also had their birthdays this month and it always makes it a very gift giving and busy month.
It is Fall! Summer is officially over and the time for leaves and pumpkins has arrived. This month has been a bit messy for me as my husband had his vacation at the start of the month and there are some changes for myself. And of course there is that little walker…
Despite my anxiety kicking in, August was a rather good month. Some months just don’t really stand out. I feel that July is one of those for me. There wasn’t that much that happened. Most of it was centred around Merijn as usual. I feel like June just flew right by me. A big zoof and it is July already. I don’t feel like a lot of things happened this month though the Summery weather has been a great blessing. Of course some days were just too hot and unbearable, but oh well. It never is quite perfect, is it?
May brought me a bunch of books (too many), sunny weather, Harry Potter things and a son who developed quite rapidly.
April brought me lots of reading, Easter and King’s Day. But there were also some warm days and very rainy days. And running after Merijn.
March overall was a good month for me mood wise with the sun, even though Merijn was not a great sleeper some nights and mornings. Book wise it was also a good reading month with perhaps a bit too much book buying again. Let us not even talk about pre orders.
February felt like a busy month for me with a lot of other people and a Merijn that was a horrible sleeper in the afternoon for most of the month. But regardless I still read a lot and I got through it on a mostly postive note.
A month that brought me some snow. Something that I quite enjoy. But there were also bookish candles, plenty of books and a good start to getting my backlist books down.
