It is Tuesday already and that of course means that I am here with another Top Ten Tuesday post (as always hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl). Today we are talking about New to Me Authors of 2022.
I always have a solid bout of new to me authors. But I’ll try to mention authors that I haven’t mentioned too frequently yet (unlike Aliette de Bodard haha).

Row 2: Guy Gavriel Kay | Hannah Whitten | Shelley Parker-Chan | Xiran Jay Zhao | Chloe Gong
That’s a lot, also outside of fantasy.

The Love Hypothesis is so far away from the sort of thing I’d usually read but it does sound so tempting.

That was the same for me.

While I’ve heard of several of these authors/books, I haven’t read any of them.

I had Axie Oh on my list today as well 😍 But Gong was also new-to-me last year and I’m looking forward to reading more of her books. I’m hoping to also read SWBTS and For the Wolf this year (finally, lol). Great list!

Great list! I have For the Wolf on my TBR for next month, so Hannah Whitten should be eligible for my new-to-me authors post next year. 😉

I’ve read one of Rory Power’s books, Wilder Girls and it wasn’t really for me. I also tried These Violent Delights and couldn’t get into it but I wasn’t very far through, so maybe I’ll try it again one of these days.

I haven’t read Wilder Girls but I know it is a bit different from this one. And These Violent Delights does take some getting used to.

Yes, it’s much more horror. Hopefully I will enjoy it more if I try it again.

I love your list. It looks like you’ve got to read some great authors last year. I read an Ali Hazelwood book myself and absolutely loved it.
