Ariel Bissett’s End of the Year Book Tag 2022

2021

Well we are nearing the end of the year and like last year I am filling out a quick tag by Ariel Bisset. It is time to start looking back a little. But a full look back at the year won’t happen until the last few days of the actual year. But a bit of extra fun is never wrong.

IS THERE A BOOK THAT YOU STARTED THAT YOU STILL NEED TO FINISH BY THE END OF THE YEAR?

I have a chapter book I was reading to Merijn, but it isn’t quite holding his attention so I think we will be dnfing that one. We might return to it at a later point in time.

DO YOU HAVE A Fall BOOK TO TRANSITION TO THE END OF THE YEAR?

There doesn’t seem to be much Fall books on my tbr for December. I do still have The Immortality Thief to read that was released in Fall.

IS THERE A RELEASE YOU ARE STILL WAITING FOR?

Not waiting for. I have an ARC of The City of Last Chances and should have read it by the time this posts.

NAME THREE BOOKS YOU WANT TO READ BY THE END OF THE YEAR?

The House in the Cerulean Sea | Deeplight | The Immortality Thief

Is there a book that can still shock you and become your favourite of the year?

Not shock but the three books from the previous question are books that have a good chance to become favorites.

Have you already started making reading plans for 2023?

Of course. I have planned 3 reading challenges that I am hosting. The SFF Title Challenge, Turtle Recall and Let Us Read Middle Grade. Next to that I am looking into other reading challenges to see what would work with these ones. And then of course I have ideas about reading goals.
