Book Haul 75 | BirthYay

I feel like October flew on by and for a variety of reasons I was glad for that too. Some things just aren’t fun at all, even if it is your birthday month.

But now it is November and it is time to look back at what kind of books I acquired. Of course I got a nice bunch for my birthday. What else would I ask for?

Violet Made of Thorns by Gina Chen
The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood = READ
The Society for Soulless Girls by Laura Steven = READ
Sinopticon: A Celebration of Chinese Science Fiction. Edited by Xueting C. Ni

Violet Made of Thorns I bought after Yalfu and seeing Gina Chen briefly. I absolutely wanted to read her book after that. The Love Hypothesis was a birthday gift. The Society and Sinopticon I got in a trip to the bookstore for my birthday. The Society seemed awesome for Spooktastic Reads (it was!) and Sinopticon seemed good for sci-fi month.

The Book Eaters by Sunyi Dean
The Golden Enclaves (The Scholomance 3) by Naomi Novik

I saw these both during my birthday trip to the bookstore. The Book Eaters just sounds awesome and I needed The Golden Enclaves to finish the trilogy.

Night Watch (Discworld 29) by Terry Pratchett
Pyramids (Discoworld 7) by Terry Pratchett
The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents (Discworld 28) by Terry Pratchett = READ
I got Night Watch for the October readalong which I sadly did not get to. Pyramids was a birthday gift. And I got this beautiful Discworld library slipcase of The Amazing Maurice. It is so pretty!

The Tea Dragon Society (Tea Dragon 1) by Kay O’Neill
The Monstress Volume 6 by Marjorie M. Liu and Sana Takeda = READ
I read the the last 2 as arcs but never got around to reading the first Tea Dragon. And of course I need to continue on with Monstress

ARCS

Legends and Lattees by Travis Baldtree
Cowboy Bebop: Supernova Swing by Dan Watters = READ
Archangel’s Resurrection (Guild Hunter 15) by Nalini Singh = READ
