Book Haul 73 | August Brings More Books

August has passed us by and we’ve headed into September. August meant that the Deventer book market returned. It was good to walk and see all the book enthusiast going for a sale. And there was the comic market in my home town.

  1. The blue accents on the cover of Ordinary Monsters look like they glow in the dark. Really neat.

    I want to read that Aliette de Bodard book! Sadly it’s not available in the US yet. You can bet I’ll be ordering it once it is! And I’m looking forward to Into the Riverlands a lot, too. I hope you enjoy all of these!

      1. I think you’re right, but it’s also not out in the US & Canada yet. She’s working on it, but no news yet. So I have to decide whether I want to wait for a US version, or if I want to order the UK version and pay all that shipping.

  2. Wat een prachtige haul. Ik vind die eerste foto trouwens heel indrukwekkend. Zo’n stapel boeken op één hand tillen zou me echt niet lukken. 🙂 De Darryl Openwereld strips heb ik zelf eind vorig jaar gelezen en ik heb ze toen in het Frans toegevoegd aan mijn Goodreads. Dus mocht je ze nog niet gevonden hebben dan kan je ze via mijn Goodreads terugvinden. Soms is het echt een hele zoektocht om daar iets terug te vinden hé.
