Five Books That Drew My Attention Because of the Title | #TopTenTuesday 348

Today for top ten tuesday (as always hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl) we are meant to be talking about Hiliarious Titles. Honestly I could dish out some books with titles that I have nor will never read but that doesn’t feel quite right.

So instead I’ve decided to share a few books that made me pick them up for the title. Of course these are a bit more towards the huh side of titles. But isn’t that what is likely to draw our attention?

The Unadulterated Cat by Terry Pratchett

What does that even mean?

The Witch Doesn’t Burn in This One by Amanda Lovelace

Nice play at Salem.

The Witness for the Dead by Katherine Addison

Why do the Dead need a witness?

Warp Gate Concerto by Dorian Graves

That is just a jumble of words.

Simon VS The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli

Starting a war, are you?

  1. Great twist on the topic, Annemieke! Simon definitely caught my eye cos of the title and cover. The Witch Doesn’t Burn in This One was added to my TBR cos of the title too. I actually love all of Lovelace’s book titles—they’re so intriguing!
