Show Your Bujo Theme | July 2022

We are already 9 days into July already! Man does this time fly. I don’t know about you but I’m having trouble fitting all the things I want to do in a day. Including reading.

But alas we cannot make the day longer and I can’t miss any sleep so it will have to do haha.

As for the theme of July it kind of fits into this feeling. Taking a snap shot of something and wanting it to stay like that a bit longer. Of course my theme is:

Photographs

Here is my cover page for July. I really like this feel of the grid with the squares and photos being hung onto. I might actually use that as a theme for the set up of my 2023 journal. Its a bit of work but also less drawing. And while I like the drawings bits in my bujo it was nice to have a change of scene for a bit.

Filling in my pages read continues on some of the squares. It isn’t so tight which makes it fun. The read books go on the long printed out page of the insta camera. Not realistic but fun.

The TBR! With next to it a page with a quote on photography. I thought that was fun.

This month I’m adding back in a spread to put down positive things. Not for every day like I did before but just when something fun or positive or good comes by. That way it isn’t as forced as the other one was for me.

So there you have my july bujo. What did you think of this theme? Do you like it better than some of my other themes? I know its a bit cleaner than some others.

  1. I love it! Especially because it feels like one I could use as inspiration since I can’t draw well. The contrast of the orderly grid and skewed taped on notes is so effective!

  2. Oh my gosh, this is SO CUTE. I really wish you lived closer, because we want to do a Bujo how-to makerspace at my library, but we haven’t been able to find anyone locally who can do it, and it’s driving me crazy. xD So many people have asked for it and it’s hard finding someone to teach it. 😛 I always love your Bujo themes, though, Annemieke. 😉 My favorite is definitely the positive things spread.
