Gah can you believe it is July already? June was a better month when it comes to personal things. Things settled back more into a routine and there were no heavy emotions to be had. Which was a relief.
The Numbers
In June I read a total of 7 books which makes the total of 2022 59 books read.
Of the 7 books all books were fantasy .
Out of the 30 days of June I read 12 days which amounted to a total of 2793 pages.

⌘ Like I said at the top, this month settled back into a better routine. The worst of my dads surgery has happened and he is recovering. He does have to start hormone therapy in July probably but we’ll hear that for sure next week.
⌘ Merijn is in the last few weeks of class 2 (kindergarten for the Americans) and is going to class 3 (grade 1) after the Summer. Which is exciting but also a little scary. I mean it is always that way for parents when there kids take step. And you know I have more worries for Merijn. Despite not having the diagnosis he is showing a lot of signs of Autism constantly and that is going to affect his switch to class 3. He had the same 2 teachers for 2 years and now a lot of things will change. But fingers crossed he will manage to settle.

⌘ He has been doing great regardless. Doing things that are hard. We have a thing called avondvierdaagse here. Which is walking for 4 evenings, 5, 10 or 15 km. A lot of schools join in to walk as a group and its a bit tradition here. You get a medal at the end. He did it. It was hard. Four evenings of 5km with a lot of noise (especially the last evening) but he did it and he is so proud of his medal.
⌘ As for me I have decided something for my future. I’m going to start a business to sell online drawing courses. This will start in 2023 and I’m doing a lot of preperations for that now. I already wrote a businessplan and have some financial backing. I’m going to work on setting up a social media following towards the start and work on the courses of course. It is going to be completely Dutch.

Fairly certain this season has more episodes but they just stopped showing it. Obnoxious I find that.
⌘ Silent Witness | Season 25 | Complete
It was interesting to see that they decided to have longer episodes and that there was a running story through all episodes. So it wasn’t just one case per 2 episodes. There was the return of Sam Ryan which felt so awekward sometimes. I loved getting more on our team but as always Nikki kind of annoys me with her men drama.

I hope Merijn enjoys class 3! New things are always scary, especially if you’re potentially on the spectrum, but he’s got a lot of great support behind him. 🙂 I think your business sounds fantastic, and you’ll be great at it! I wish you all the best with it.

Bravo Merijn! Wat een fijne traditie en met die medailles als motivatie wordt het voor de kinderen meteen extra leuk. Ik duim volop mee voor de overgang naar zijn nieuwe klas én jouw toekomstplannen.
