⌘ Gosh I don’t even know what to tell you about this month except that it was chaos for us. My dad had surgery in the middle of the month. But this was in Belgium. My mom can’t drive. I’m over 4 hours away by car and I can’t go up and down because I have my own family. So yes a whole mess.

⌘ The surgery itself went well but took longer because they found more cancer. He came home from the hospital a week ago. We don’t really know what is going to happen. If he will still need chemo for instance.

⌘ It was Wyrd and Wonder too and my fist year of being a co-host. It didn’t quite go the way I wanted it to go. I wish I’d had more energy and time to come by all your lovely posts. I might come by in the next few months. We still have the master schedule so I can still come by. But with Summer coming up I don’t think it will be quick for me.

⌘ Merijn is doing okay. He is going to the next grade. But I have worries. The teacher has worries. Because everything will be different again and changes he does not deal well with. But on the other hand he has done some great things this month too. He went camping with his grandma and the camping van. And he ran to raise money for the schools playground. Sometimes its hard to believe he is still only 5. He’s growing so quick.

⌘ We also had a brothers and sisters day from my husband side (I’m an only child). We took the ferry to the island Terschelling way at the top of the Netherlands. We went scooter riding there and it was a lot of fun. Of course I managed to bruise my foot there. Who would I be if I didn’t end up hurting myself. Lol.

Luca | Movie
We watched this and we loved it. Merijn kept saying that he thought it was boring and then he watched silently the whole movie, lol.

Soul | Movie
I thought this was okay. It certainly had its moments.

Amphibia | Season 1 | Complete
Amphibia | Season 2 | Complete
When I first saw Amphibia I thought it was some stupid show but it has a cool plot. Watched this with Merijn.

The Owl House | Season 1 | Ep 11-19 | Complete
Finally they showed the second half here. Merijn is now also a fan.

Silent Witness | Season 18 | Complete
Silent Witness | Season 19 | Complete
Getting close to having seen all the seasons. But Season 5 is starting sooon.

Cardinal | Season 1 | Complete
Cardinal | Season 2 | Complete
Cardinal | Season 3 | Complete
Cardinal | Season 4 | Complete
I watched this tear jerking Canadian tv crime show. Each season only had 6 episodes so it wasn’t as much of a binge as it seems. I loved the first 3 seasons for the characters and the focus on Cardinal’s family with his bipolar wife. It didn’t shy away from portraying mental illness while making her an actual person.
‘ I appreciate you wanting to protect me, but where is the freedom?’
