My plan for the Top Ten Tuesday posts during Wyrd and Wonder was to go for #TropeTuesday. Unfortunately I was going quite blank for the prompt of today, Forest Guardian. So instead I decided to look back at the top ten tuesday prompt (as always hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl) and see if I could twist it to fit for this fantasy month. And so I have 5 quotes from books that have some woods in them.

Such lovely quotes and the one from The Raven Boys are especially true.

I think I will forever remember the sense of wonder I had when they finally wander into Cabeswater. THE TREES SPEAK LATIN. WHAT CREATIVITY.

I loved Silver in the Wood so much, the writing was just beautiful. It always takes me by surprise when such a short story can stay with me for so long.

Great quotes! This reminds me that I need to continue with The Raven Boys. I also love that quote from Holly Black’s book… I haven’t read that one yet but I think I do have it on my TBR!

Cabeswater is definitely one of my favourite fictional forests…if you can have a favourite fictional forest!
