Yes hello. I have been with you all for seven years already. Can you imagine that. I almost feel old (well I am but lets not talk about that.) I am not planning on stopping any time either so you all will be stuck for me for a while yet. I’d like to hit 10 years at least, ha.
For today I just want to share some blogging stats and I filled in the blogger stats book tag. I noticed that my free wp seems to have taken away some stats I could see in prior years. So the stats are a bit more limited than in previous years when I did this.
I filled in the statistics and the book tag on May 13th.

A Small List of Trigger Warnings You Can Use
From September 2019. I wrote a list of trigger warnings that can be used in reviews as I heard a lot of people struggled adding them into their review.

From May 2018. Written for Wyrd and Wonder, the first genre vs post I wrote.

The Blogger Stats Book Tag
The Blogger Stats Book Tag was created by Stuart from Always Trust In Books
The last three books you read?
Of Dragons, Feasts and Murders | The House of Shattered Wings | The House of Binding Thorns
Spoilers or spoiler free?
I prefer spoiler free or to get adequate warning for spoilers at least. But when it comes to content warnings I really want to know. I don’t think of them as spoilers to be honest. I share them in my reviews. I put spoilers sometimes in my goodreads reviews but I tag them appropiately.
How long have you been book blogging?
Seven years as this is what this post is about.
A book you read in one sitting?
I actually read plenty of books in one sitting if I can. Usually when Merijn has gone to school I can take a few hours to read if I make time for it and I try to read as much as I can.
Your favourite genre?
Fantasy of course.
Preferred book size? (novella, tome…etc)
I actually like a novel and novella equally. I wasn’t sure about novella’s at first but when I got into a few of themI actually started to appreciate these shorter stories. A few have come my favorites.
Amount of books on your TBR?
Yeah well over 200. We don’t talk about it…
A book you have DNF’d?
It is still Battle of the Linguest Mages
Recent awards or milestones?
Getting pretty close to 2000 followers just on WP. I feel proud of that.
Best interaction with an author you enjoy?
Ah I love all the authors I’ve interacted with in a positive manner. But I did love meeting Jonathan Stroud a few years ago. ❤
Average number of books you read per month?
At the moment that differs between 5 to 10.
Top three publishers?
I don’t look too much at the publishers when I pick out my books. But I do seem to like TOR and I love what Rick Riordan Presents is doing.
Social media sites your blog uses?
Twitter mostly. I still have an instagram account but I rarely post on there.
Average amount of time you spend networking?
I don’t keep count. There are weeks I barely do anything and other weeks i spend a lot of time on it to catch up.
Most comfortable blogging position?
I like sitting on the couch with my laptop.
Music or quiet when writing reviews?
Generally I prefer to have some sound like the radio or the tv.
Can you sum up your blogging style in 5 words?
Honest, excited, personal and that is about how far I get. What words do you associate with me?
A blog you looked up to starting out?
The best book you have reviewed so far?
Yeah no I don’t pick favorites that way.
Best piece of blogging advice?
Write about what you like to read on other blogs. Don’t try to do everything. Be honest in your reviews. Blog hop and become a part of the community.
