I wasn’t sure what to do for March. It is not a month that screams out a specific topic in anyway. Though as it turns out now the weather is being extra sunny. Something sunny would have been fun. But alas I didn’t know that in February.
I did however read Pirate Stew that was written by Neil Gaiman and illustrated by Chris Riddell. It got my creative juices rolling a little. I’m not sure if I am super happy with how it all turned out but I’m trying not to worry too much about that with my bujo these days.
So my theme was:
Pirates!
I kept the cover page fairly simple. Just a steering wheel with March lettering.
Here is the spread for the pages read. Little pieces of paper floating in the air. With the ship nearby. In the sails I’ll write the books I read.
And here is my tbr for the month. A bit of arcs, a bit of middle grade for middle grade march. I drew a pirate ship in a bottle for the illustration.
As an addition a spread for the week long magical readathon. The Meerkat will be my familiar for the legacy. And a Quarterstaff for conduit.
Oh my god, the pirate theme is so pretty!! Good job 🥰 so creative
