Book Haul 69 | Here We Are with a Lot

The book haul of mostly February and March is quite a big one. As I mentioned on Twitter I am struggling saying no to review copies even though I am kind of overwhelmed. I want to say yes to everyone because I want to give everyone a fair chance, especially those that are self-pubbing. But I can’t always keep up. So that is my struggle at the moment. And I want to read all the other things too ~

The Painted Man (Demon Cycle 1) by Peter V. Brett
I got this second hand from Anderwereld. I’ve been curious about it but you don’t come across it very often.

Pirate Stew by Neil Gaiman. Illustrated by Chris Riddell = READ
I can never pass up anything illustrated by Chris Riddell as you know and the combination with Neil Gaiman is always a good one.

Daughter of the Moon Goddess (The Celestial Kingdom 1) by Sue Lynn Tan
This is such a pretty cover and I like the sound of the story.

The Cat Who Saved Books by Sosuke Natsukawa
In the same shopping trip as Daughter of the Moon Goddess and Pirate Stew I found this shiny one. And doesn’t it sound right up my alley?

In the Serpents Wake (Tess of the Road 2) by Rachel Hartman
As you know I am a big fan of the Seraphina duology and Tess of the Road so I was happy to see this was finally released. There was almost no buzz for it though unlike Tess of the Road and I think that is a shame. I hope to read it soon.

Sal & Gabi Break the Universe (Sal & Gabi 1) by Carlos Hernandez
Sal & Gabi Fix the Universe (Sal & Gabi 2) by Carlos Hernandez
I’ve only heard great things about this middle grade duology and it is from Rick Riordan Presents which I want to read all books from.

Crowbones (The Others 8) by Anne Bishop = READ
Yeay I finally got my pre order of this and reading it this week.

Stormchaser (The Edge Chronicles 5) by Paul Steward and Chris Riddell
I haven’t read or own any in this series yet but it is with Riddell’s artwork and I want all of those. I got it on sale for 5 Euro.

Gallant by V.E. Scwab = READ
After reading my E Arc I decided I wanted to get the Dutch edition of this book to reread and get a better feel for the book with all the drawings and illustrations. I think it looks better in physical form than in ebook form to catch everything though I enjoyed the story in ebook too. I’ll try and do a reel thing of this book on my bookstagram account and then share it in my march wrap up.
