What? We are already SEVEN days into 2022. It is weird to think about how fast time keeps going. As we are already in 2022 it is good to announce what I’d like to achieve with my reading for 2022. Or achieve seems like the wrong kind of word I guess.
The Goodreads and Storygraph Challenge
Last year I went with 120 books that I ended up scaling down in October because I was struggling to read. This year I’m going for a safer number from the start.

So I went with 100. A 100 is an awesome number of books to read and a number I’ve been sure off in the last few years. So I hope that it will be a definite hit this year too.

For Storgraph of course I put 100 books down as well. With the pages goal I upped it quite a bit from what I actually read in 2021. I would like to read some more of the bigger books on my tbr. So I’d like to challenge myself there a little.
35 Books Before 35
A few years ago I wanted to do the 35 books to read before I turn 35. I turn 35 this year (October) but I have been quite slacking on this list. I hold no illusions on actually finishing it but getting to 20 out of 35 would be pretty cool. I went through the list and marked those that I lost interest in (4) and I’ve read 5. So that leaves me with 15 books from the list at the least. I also will stretch the goal from October to December, to give myself 2 extra months.
5 Books I Think Will be 5 Star Reads

Crowbones (The Others 8) by Anne Bishop |
Feet of Clay (Discworld) by Terry Pratchett |
Black Water Sister by Zen Cho |
Hundred Thousand Kingdoms (Inheritance 1) by N.K. Jemisin |
The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune |
Other Challenges I’m Doing
Turtle Recall | Level Lancre | 10-15 Books
Let Us Read Middle Grade | 30 Books
Spacetime Reading Challenge | Level Galactic Navigator | 20 Books
Adult SFF Backlist Challenge | 70 Books
12 Challenge | 12 Books
I wish I’d be able to read a 100 books, haha! Good luck to you on all your goals!
I’m turning 30 this year but.. I’m not up to a 30 before 30. I’m going with mood-reading from now on, all the time! It’s the only way I feel I won’t get into a slump or neglect reading again.
Anywaaaay, wishing you the best reading year ever! 🙂

Maybe some day 😉 I made the list of 35 books before 35 a few years ago but I haven’t made a huge amount of progress haha.

Yeay I hope I will love it too. I’ve loved most of Zen Cho’s books so far anyway.
