10 Best Scooby-Doo Movies to Watch for Halloween | #TopTenTuesday 310

It is already Halloween this coming weekend! I know. How time is flying. After that there is only 2 more months of 2021. But back to halloween. Today for Top Ten Tuesday (as always hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl) we got a halloween freebie.

Now as most of you know I am a big Scooby-Doo fan. Like huge. I wish there was more merch here in the Netherlands because I would probably have a scooby house haha. Shh. Anyway, so I figured that for this weeks topic I could share with you some of the best scoobies to watch for this Halloween. So much easier than all those scary movies!

Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School

One of the first tv specials from the eighties. In this Scooby and Shaggy have applied as teachers at the Ghoul School. Little did they know it is an actual Ghoul School and it isn’t just a name. This one is just so much fun despite its age and works perfect for the Halloween creatures.

Scooby- Doo on Zombie Island & Scooby-Doo Returns to Zombie Island

In the late 90’s the real scooby direct to dvd franchise started with the zombie island movie in which there are of course zombies. In 2019 the gang made a revisit to Zombie Island. Perfect to watch back to back on Halloween night.

Scooby-Doo and the Witch’s Ghost

An interesting case with a bit of ghosts

Scooby-Doo and the Legend of the Vampire

Hello does that not say everything already

Scooby-Doo and the Goblin King

A real fairy gets stolen and it is on scooby and shaggy to get her back before the goblin king finds out! Lots of creepies so perfect for Halloween.

Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare!

One of my favorites for the summer vibe and the creepy stories.

Scooby-Doo! Frankencreepy!

If you think frankenstein than you think right. A look into Velma’s family combined with the creepy story of frankenstein.

Scooby-Doo and the 13th Ghost

Probably best watched if you know the show The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo as this is a direct continuation. In the original series Scooby, Shaggy, Scrappy and Daphne helped Vincent van Ghoul to catch the 13 ghosts. In this movie they jump right to the big and scary last one.

Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo!

This is not at all a perfect movie. However it is set during Halloween and the pumpkins are everywhere!

  1. Ooh I didn’t know you were a Scooby fan! How fun. I wasn’t as much a fan growing up (wish I would have been because those shows were always on) but now I love seeing those. I bet the Halloween one is a blast. I kinda want a Mystery van too πŸ™‚

  2. Love this! I can’t remember the last time that I watched Scooby-Doo and I wouldn’t even know where to watch it on TV here (lol does Cartoon Network still show it?) but it’s such a throwback for me! 😍

  3. Aww, Scooby Dooby Doo! I was a die-hard fan of Scooby growing up. Back then, they also used to have Scooby Laff-A-Lympics (spelling?) which used to leave me cackling with glee. So yes, I just gobbled up your post. πŸ˜€
