And we are back on schedule to showing you guys my bujo. For august I honestly had so little ideas that it took me forever to finish this spread. I have been experimenting a lot with house portraits as you can see on my shops instagram. And the person whose course I followed also did a few street carts which inspired me.
This is also the first time I used water colors in my bujo and I surprisingly really liked it.
So my August Bujo Theme was
So if you are wondering what I mean with street carts it is just these flower, food and other type of carts you can find at markets, festivals or just randomly at the street. They usually have this summery or fuzzy feel going for them. Here is a flower cart.
For this spread I went with a bakery cart that I saw on pictures in a mall. My mood tracker resembles the glasses on the cart. The displays were pretty cute.
This time I put my movement and drinking tracker in one tracker like this to combine with the roundness of the oranges from the smoothie cart. Which was harder the drawn then you might think.
Of course when it comes to what I read it had to be a book cart. I saw so many cute ones when I was searching for what I wanted to draw. I need more book carts like these in my life.
And for my tbr I went with and ice cream cart. Not that it actually became warm enough in August to want a lot of ice (my son does not agree btw, ice cream is for every day haha).
I wasn’t sure how the combo of the water color set up with the coloring pencil would turn out but it looks pretty neat to be honest so I’m continuing on with it in September. Probably the rest of the year and then we’ll see what I’ll keep.
I also have already ordered a new bujo for next year to slowly start setting up. But it is yellow and i needed it!
