Ten Recent(ish) Books I Read In One Day | #TopTenTuesday 297

When you have kids you will know how hard it can be to read a book in one sitting let alone one day. When Merijn is around there is just no reading happening. But I can read some books in a day (the shorter ones I add) if he is at school or at his grandparents.

So that is what we are looking at for today’s Top Ten Tuesday (as always hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl).

Witches Get Stitches (Stay a Spell 3) by Juliette Cross
These kind of urban fantasy/contemporary fantasy with a focus on the romance might not be my ultimate favorites to read but dangit are they addictive to read. The Stay a Spell books aren’t any different. If you need a break from your chonkers and like a bit of wolves and vampires and witches then these books are for sure for you. I couldn’t put it down.

Silverborne and River Marked (Mercedes Thompson 5 & 6) by Patricia Briggs
These books are so addictive and so easy to settle back into the world that I read a lot of them in one sitting.

The Outlaws Scarlett and Browne (The Outlaws Scarlett and Browne 1) by Jonathan Stroud
It is Stroud. Of course I read my favorite author in one day.

Take a Hint Dani Brown (The Brown Sisters 2) by Talia Hibbert
Just a quick and satisfying read, lol

A Winter’s Promise (La Passe Mirior 1) by Christelle Dabos
Almost 500 pages but I couldn’t put it down.

Firelight (Darkest London 1) by Kristen Callihan
A Historical Romance with a touch of fantasy. Easy reads.

Siege of Rage and Ruin (The Wells of Sorcery 3) by Django Wexler
The last book of this trilogy so I just really had to know how it ended.

Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas
Just so very good.

Not Even Bones (Market of Monsters 1) by Rebecca Schaeffer
A whole lot of fun and a little different.
