top ten tuesday

Books I Read or Bought Because Someone Recommended It to Me | #TopTenTuesday 261 | #Blogtober

Midway through October and it is time for yet another Top Ten Tuesday (as always hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl).

This time we are talking about books that we read (or in my case also bought) because someone else recommended them to me. When you are in the book community you get books recced to you daily. Sometimes I find it hard to remember who recommended me what. But for these I still remember.

Some of these were direct recommendations. Others were recs because the person shouted about them so much. You can clearly see who my worst enabler is.

  1. Discworld was recommended to me, too, and it’s one of the few times I can remember who recommended it! It was my boyfriend at the time who suggested I read the series, and while I’m not with him any more, I’m still enjoying reading the books. 😉
