Wrap Up

Dancing out September 2020

September is not a month I want to think about too much. There was heat, there was sickness and there was a whole lot of depression making the rounds.

Reading Challenge(2)

⌘ Well September didn’t start off too well. I got a really bad cold with achy troth, headaches and all the other fun bits.  So as asked by the government in the rules I isolated and got a covid test to make sure it wasn’t covid-19.

Fun times. I had to drive 30-40 minutes to get to the test street (a drive through where you can stay in the car while swabbed). Because it has been so busy I had to go further away. It was okay in itself. The one up your nose was terrible but everything was done fast.

One the up, the test was negative. I remained sick the rest of the week though. And I hated that Merijn couldn’t go to school because I was not allowed to drop him off because of my cold and covid test. I get why but it still sucks immensely.

⌘  We had the last bit of heat at the start of September with a bit of a heatwave.

⌘ I ended up having a bowel infection the third week of September. Luck was not on my side. I also ended up having a very bad point in my depression. I think I am crawling back upwards right now but you know how these things work.

⌘ On the up, Merijn is getting more and more used at school and doing better overall.

  1. Wow, I’m sorry September sucked so bad for you! I hope you’re feeling better now, and I’m definitely glad you tested negative.

I’m impressed with how much you managed to get through with reading and your blog through all of that. Hopefully October will be better for you.

  2. Glad your test was negative!

I enjoyed The Thief Who Pulled on Trouble’s Braids! Really want to read The Merciful Crow, I got an ARC at a con but I just haven’t had time! Hope you enjoy The Expanse. I haven’t read the books, but that series definitely just got better and better every season.

Dikke knuffel!
