Best of the Bunch | May 2020

May has been over for a week and yet here I am with a best of the bunch for it still. I read a grand total of 21 books during the month of which two 5 star reads and a bunch of 4 star read. So it was a pretty good reading month all together

Best of the Bunch is a monthly meme created by Jessica at a Coccoon of Books.

Best of the Bunch

Synopsis

Mechanic Mercy Thompson can shift her shape – but not her loyalty. When her former boss and mentor is arrested for murder and left to rot behind bars by his own kind, it’s up to Mercy to clear his name, whether he wants her to or not.
.
Mercy’s loyalty is under pressure from other directions, too. Werewolves are not known for their patience, and if Mercy can’t decide between the two she cares for, Sam and Adam may make the choice for her…

Iron Kissed is the third Mercy Thompson book and my favorite so far. There was something so gripping about this book and it certainly delivers some punches at the end there. (TW for rape)
