I got tagged by Laura from The Corner of Laura for the Awesome Blogger Award. Thank you so much dear~ .
I don’t often pay attention to the blogger awards anymore (since I did a bunch at the start) but I like at least answering the questions where the tagged formulated their own questions. It seems like a waste let some good questions go stale.
- Thank and link back to the person that tagged you.
- Credit the creator and include the reason behind the award: “This is an award for the absolutely wonderful writers all across the blogging world. They have beautiful blogs, are kind and lovely, and always find a way to add happiness and laughter to the lives of their readers. That is what truly defines an awesome blogger.”
- Tag it under #awesomebloggeraward in the Reader.
- Answer the questions your nominator gave you.
What’s the comfort book that you always reach for when everything gets a bit much?
Hmm I’m not sure I have that. I don’t often make time to reread books. I do have comfort tv shows though. The Incredible Dr. Pol, Midsomer Murders and Stargate.
Which book from your favourite genre would you recommend to someone who has never read anything from that genre before?
Probably The Farseers trilogy by Robin Hobb. But there are so many options for fantasy and it just depends on where your preference lies.
If you had the power to jump into books, which literary world would you escape to?
Possibly Discworld. But I think I’d also love to jump into Howl’s world and see the castle move around.
Which mythical creature do you wish was real?
Dragons of course!
Would you rather have the power to fly or the power to breathe underwater?
Fly because that way I can visit all my (online) friends.
You have the power to stop time for an hour once a day. How do you use it?
Do you usually listen to music while reading? If so, what’s your favourite thing to listen to?
Sometimes. When I do I just have the Dutch radio station Q Music on. But sometimes I prefer silence. It just depends on how I am feeling.
What’s your favourite reading snack?
What skill do you wish you could master without trying?
Dragon taming. That would be awesome~
Gush time! In three sentences or less, gush about your favourite book. (Yes, I’m sort of copying Sweaters and Raindrops on this one!)
But that means that first I have to choose a favourite? Grr. Going with The Library of the Unwritten.
A book about a librarian in hell that guards books that haven’t been written/finished and that sometimes has characters that can come out of it. How is this not on everyone’s radar?
What Mystical Creature Do You Wish Was Real?
PS: Please sign this petition to ban the use of rubber bullets. They aren’t actually rubber but normal bullets with a coat of rubber around it. They are huge and the police has been shooting them in protesters faces.
