Best of the Bunch // March 2020

Despite all the weirdness going on I still managed to read 14 books this month. Not all of them very long, and I do read middle grade quicker than other books. But I still think I deserve a pat on the back considering.

I actually had three 5 stars reads. Yes you read that right. Three. The end of the world is close, lol.

Best of the Bunch

Synopsis

Even the Wild Man of Greenhollow can’t ignore a summons from his mother, when that mother is the indomitable Adela Silver, practical folklorist. Henry Silver does not relish what he’ll find in the grimy seaside town of Rothport, where once the ancient wood extended before it was drowned beneath the sea―a missing girl, a monster on the loose, or, worst of all, Tobias Finch, who loves him.

Some books and characters just kind of settle in your heart and you can only really love them. I have that with these characters. I want to hold them all. Yes, even momma Silver.

  1. That’s definitely quite a nice amount of books you’ve read; 14!
And awesome that you had three 5 star reads!! I put in a pre-order for The Girl and the Stars. I’ve been so exited to read something by this author for years now. I own one of his books; Prince of Thorns, but haven’t gotten around to read it yet. I couldn’t just not order TGATS because it looks so good! Glad to see it was one of your faves!
