top ten tuesday

Eight Signs I’m a Book Lover | #toptentuesday 231

As a whole I don’t think it might be surprising to say that I am indeed a book lover. Hello, I have a book blog. So I might be showing some obvious signs here.

For this week’s top ten tuesday (as always, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl) I will be sharing some of these signs with you.

Also happy birthday to my husband.

I Own Over 500 Books

If you have followed me for a while you will know that even though our house is not that big, I do own a nice amount of books. That is not including all of Merijn’s Picture Books. The amount is well over 500 and closer to 900 I’d say.

There Are Books Scattered All Around the House

While I do have three book cases in our front room and one book case, with a slim book case for Merijn’s books, in the back room, there are still other rooms in our house that have books. Like our bedroom, Merijn’s bedroom and the spare bedroom. I swear, that is all.

I Asked for Books When Merijn was Born

Why not? Toys go out of fashion. Books never do.

I Am Always Looking at Books

No matter where I am I always have to see what books are laying around or what kind of books are being sold (even though it is nowhere near my interest of reading).

I Always Have to Go Into a Bookstore

It is a magnetic pull I tell you.

People Tag Me in All Things Bookish

You have no idea how often I have been tagged on that staircase with the popular book spines on facebook.

I Am a Book Blogger

Yes hello!

I Take Bookish Photos

I like the aesthatic of seeing pretty books on pictures and try my hand at it now and then.

  1. I need to count how many books I own! I know, it’s up there. I was going to ask for books for when Ollie was born. I ended up buying pretty much a ton of books before that happened, thanks infertility! But, I did end up getting some anyways because people know how much I love books and want to share with my son! 🙂

  2. Haha I definitely relate to these! Especially the HAVING to go inside when you pass by a bookstore. It’s just a must 🙂 And there are definitely books all over the house as well!

  3. These are all so relatable! My outings never feel complete without a stop to the bookstore. I definitely can never resist the pull of going in whenever I pass by one wherever I am 😂 Great list!
