Three days into March after the shortest month of the year and we are going to be talking about single word titles for top ten tuesday (as always hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl). It is easy to list some single word titles but I decided to go with some of my favorite ones. What is your favorite book with a single word title?
Coral by Sara Ella
A Little Mermaid retelling that focuses a lot on depression. It was one of my favourite reads of 2019 and completely shook me at the time.
Timekeeper by Tara Sim
I a 100% fell in love with the two main characters in this steampunk where clocks are attached to the actual time. If a clock stops so does the town.
Uprooted by Naomi Novik.
Not only does this book have a gorgeous cover but I fell in love with the whole world of this book.
Wintersmith by Terry Pratchett
Apart of Discworld and the Tiffany Aching arc, and it is a great story. I mean, there is rolling cheese…
Angelfall by Susan Ee
One of the few paranormal dystopian series that I ended up truly enjoying.
Hogfather by Terry Pratchett
Another Discworld book, this time apart of the Death arc. Death in here is playing hogfather and that is quite an interesting choice.
Foundryside by Robert Jackson Bennett
This was by first book by this author but I fell straight in love with the world and characters.
Seraphina by Rachel Hartman
By now you will probably know that the world where Seraphina takes place in is one of my favourites and I really enjoy the writing of this author.
I like Coral, so simple yet a great title at the same time. and Angelfall is a good one too- so evocative. Instantly makes you want to know what ‘s happening (at least I think so haha).

Great list! Seraphina and Foundryside made my list this week, too. I want to give Tara Sim’s work a try. 🙂

I’m sad to admit that I’ve only read one of these books (Uprooted) but absolutely loved it. Can’t wait to read Seraphina, Coral and Foundryside. All have such great covers and blurbs 😍 Great list!

I’m dying to read Coral, even though I’m still kinda mad that my e-ARC request was not accepted. =P
Happy readings!

I really want to pick up Timekeeper but will probably wait to see how I feel about Scavenge the Stars which I bought on a whim a couple of weeks ago.

Uprooted was so good! And I really, really, REALLY need to pick up Timekeeper soon!

Bahaha you also had a Pratchett book (technically, two) on your list! And not the same one I did (Mort). xD I love it. Wow. I totally forgot aaaall these books when making my list and now I feel silly. Like Timekeeper and Angelfall? How did I blank on those? Love your choices!
