After recently having done a Book Cover Freebie for Top Ten Tuesday (as always, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl) which I focused on 2019 covers, I realized I would also just really love to share with you some of the illustrated covers I have been really loving.

This week’s topic of book hangover does not really work for me since I don’t really have book hangovers like that. So it just seemed like the best time to throw this in the mix.

Middle Grade

I find it interesting to note that I seem to have different preferences per age category. With middle grade I am all for the very adventure seeking, active covers. With YA I still like them to display adventure but they are less dynamic. And for my adult covers I like white a lot with more scenery or a lone image on it.
