top ten tuesday

Sci-Fi Books in the Last Year I Read I’d Reccommend to You // #scifimonth // #toptentuesday 212

It is sci-fi month so you can’t honestly be expecting me to start talking about my favorite book marks for top ten tuesday, can you? I have plenty so I couldn’t even choose 10. Ha!

Instead I am sharing with you some of my favorite reads since sci-fi month last year that are sci-fi or have sci-fi elements to them. While I do love sci-fi I really don’t read as many as I’d like to. Fantasy remains my go to but science-fiction still has so much to offer as well and these below are the ones that really got me in the past year.

All Systems Red & Artificial ConditionΒ  & Rogue Protocol (The Murderbot Diaries 1-3) by Martha Wells

The Outside by Ada Hoffmann

Warp Gate Concerto by Dorian Graves

To Be Taught If Fortunate by Becky Chambers

Young Adult

Revenger & Shadow Captain (Revenger 1-2) by Alastair Reynolds

The Fever King (Feverwake 1) by Victoria Lee

Stronger Than a Bronze Dragon by Mary Fan

  1. I haven’t read any of these but I’ve had Fever King on my TBR for a while and I feel like I really need to get on it! I’ve been reading the Webtoons for the book though and it’s pretty amazing πŸ™‚ Great TTT!

    1. Yes please read it. It is so good. I read the first chapter of the webtoon but I suck at checking back every week haha so I’ll probably just binge it at some point.

  2. I want to read the Murderbot books so much, but Hoopla doesn’t have them and I refuse to pay the same ebook price as a full novel for a novella. πŸ˜’ I have them on my Kindle list, but only the third one went on sale, so that’s the only one I have. 😐
