Reading Challenge(2)

⌘ Apparently Use.com stopped. The site where I bulk uploaded most of the pictures that I had to replace last time. So once again I am back to having to go through all blogposts and updating the pictures. I am so tired. Why does this keep happening to my every single year? I don’t know where I am suppose to find the time or the energy to do this again and keep the blog going. There is a chance I might just go back and remove the broken bits and not put photos back up unless they are a 100% nessecary like with the book shelf tours. And even then it will take me a while. Like I literally don’t know where to start at the moment. I have no will power to start yet again.

⌘ This was the month of my birthday which was okay mostly.

⌘ Honestly I’ve had 2 sinusitis’s (one of which is not over) sickness, voice loss and a very bad period all following each other up and it has really affected my overal mood. The weather that is very dark on certain days is not helping either and my depression was just triggered a lot.

Reading Challenge(4)

what I watched october 2019.png

Are You the One? / Season 8 / Ep 1-10
I’ll admit, I love the drama…

The Handmaid’s Tale / Season 1 / Ep 2-3
It is interesting but I am slowly watching this. I haven’t made much time for it.

Scooby-Doo and Guess Who! / Season 1 / Various Episodes
Obviously I need to watch the new scooby-doo. They try to get it back into the old style but with very new guests along the way and it doesn’t quite work. I think they would be better of trying to modernize Scooby-doo by fans unlike the whole mystery incorperated.

Voltron / Season 1 / Ep 1-2
This is fun!

  1. As I have been going through getting the info for my TMT “five years ago” segment I have realized there were a lot more photos that disappeared after Google+ shutdown and the Piccasa albums went away (even though they promised the images would automatically transfer to Google Drive albums). That’s why I have been trying to use direct links to Goodreads cover images, even though I like the bigger images with better resolution I can get from author and publisher websites sometimes, I have to resize those so I have to use my own storage. Like you, I have decided to just remove the broken images for most everything except for reviews and special posts (like your bookshelf tours) because really… how many people go back and read old regular feature posts? Not that many I don’t suppose, but perfectionism can be a hard shadow. 😐

I dread the shorter days, too, and the added stormy dark days of fall and winter. It is really difficult to stay above it all with the environment being so depressive, and in a way oppressive. I’m sorry you have to have that on your plate when you also have to parent. ((((((((HUGS))))))

I keep realizing I have The Wicked Deep to read. I hope I can get to it in December because anything newer I don’t get to will have to wait a year, other than Harry Potter and Discworld, because of my year of classics. 📚

Here’s to November… may it fool us and be filled with many mild and sunny days. 🌞

    1. That is very true and in some cases the photos certainly aren’t nessecary. But yes that perfectionism, meh.

It looks like it will be colder the next few days but no rain so hopefully it won’t be too grey either.

  3. Oh, I somehow missed your review of Trinity Bones? I didn’t realize you were reading it (or that it was even releasing). I passed on it, because I wasn’t that fond of the first one, but I’m glad to see the second was a bit better!

Sounds like this was a rough month for you. (hugs) Hang in there. I hope things start looking up soon! Thanks so much for sharing my post!

  4. Thirteen books is amazing! I have an ARC of The Beautiful here too and after seeing the low ratings, I’m hesitant to give it a try. So sorry you had a difficult October as far as your health. I hope your November is going so much better.
