Reading Challenge(10)

Josy is coming closer to discovering her magic, but what will she have to sacrifice to uncover the secrets?

Reading Challenge(11)

After the second episode in this short episode style series I might have had too high of expectations for this third installment. In this Josy is trying to discover more about her magic by trying to find a book in the secret library. And of course she gets thrown a curve ball.

It kind of feels like this episode is very much a set up one for the upcoming bits of the plot. Some of it felt incredibly forced though. Like Aspen’s announcement at the end there that I wish had been shared or shown in a different way instead of just dropped like some cliffhanger. Or the fact that she is being forced to associate with someone who she doesn’t care about and certainly doesn’t care one bit about her. It just feels so incredibly forced.

Yet at the same time I remain invested in the Morelli plot line and I am mostly incredibly curious about that portion of this story. And while I might not agree about some things with Aspen, he is a great love interest and I approve of how their problems were dealt with. Respectful. Communication in the end even though it was hard on both of them. I love that.
