September was too much all over the place. Not just in the weather, going from 30 degrees to 14 degrees in a matter of a few days, but also in my state of mind. Worries were all over the place. Reading wise was mostly fine however and I had another 5 star read. Yeay me.

Level: Elemental Witch (11-15 retellings)
Read This Month: 0
As you can see I have hit the initial goal I set for myself here. So now I am moving up to High Fae for 16-20 Retellings. I have completely fallen silent on the retellings reading front however.
I initially went pretty decent with this challenge. However in the last few months I haven’t touched a retelling and I don’t think I will be touching that many more this year. So the bingo card will be a bust for me. However I did get to my initial goal so that is great.
⌘ Well that is a good question. Not that grand to be honest. We had to get a new bicycle for me because mine was 20+ years old so that stirred money worries. And later on in the month the newish car had to be taken to the garage again for the speed meter. Again. On October 1st it should have gotten a new display and hopefully that will fix it all.
⌘ And even more worries about all of the choices I had to make regarding Merijn and the best route to take with getting help for him. Waiting lists. And whispers of not being able to afford some help and it really triggered my anxiety and depression. There were days where I had so much muscle ache in my arms and legs, and pain in my neck again. Not good signs so I needed to take it easy and still take care of everything. It means sometimes the housework is not as great as it could be for a stay at home mom but whatever.
⌘ At the end of August/start of September we stayed a weekend in Antwerp. We being my husband and I. Merijn went to his grandparents for the weekend which he loved. Antwerp was great. We walked a lot. Went to some museau and of course book stores. We went to the zoo and the chocolate experience. It was a lot of fun.

⌘ The Crossing / Season 1 / Ep 8-11 / COMPLETE
I finished it! I really ended up enjoying this one and I am sad that yet again a show that was a bit different got booted again. Meh.
⌘ Agatha Raisin / Season 1 / Ep 4-7
I still need to watch the final episode here but I lost interesting somehow. Episode 7 could not grab my attention. I hope episode 8 will be back to being good.
⌘ Handmaid’s Tale / Season 1 / Ep 1
On a complete whim I watched the first episode of The Handmaid’s Tale and really liked it. It really grabbed me so I am interested in seeing if it will continue to do so.
⌘ The Darkest Minds / Movie
And my hold on The Darkest Minds movie finally came in. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. Liam could have been done better though I doubt that was the actor’s fault and more had to do with them cutting out the more group bonding moments.

⌘ October will have Spooktastic Reads 2019, hosted by the lovely hosts of Wyrd and Wonder. From the 19th to the 31st. Which is great because it starts a week after my birthday and around my birthday it is always very busy haha. There is also an October tbr challenge happening, and since I am reading anyway I might as well participate, lol.
⌘ Other than that October will be busy with birthdays and appointments for Merijn so we’ll see how much I can actually get around to.
This monthly wrap up will be linked up with the monthly one by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction. This so we can blog hop to each others wrap ups easier.
