Books Out of My Comfort Zone I’d Like to Read / #toptentuesday 204

I don’t think it will come as a surprise to any of you when I say that what is truly out of my comfort zone is contemporary. So for this topic all of them are pretty much contemporary (except one non-fiction). Sure, there are other genres or types within genres that are out of my comfort zone but I am more inclined to try out those books than contemporary. Contemporary, and especially young adult contemporary, is a so far away from my bed show. But here are a few I have my sights on.

Top ten tuesday is a reoccurring meme that is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

  1. I’m kinda the same way w/ contemporaries. I read em but few and far between. I have read Alice Oseman and liked her Radio Silence. Surprisingly, a lot of the contemps I’ve tried I’ve really liked! Maybe I’m more of a fan than I think. 🙂

  2. Great list! Red, White & Royal Blue made my list this week too – I really need to check that one out – and I need to cross The Hate U Give off my TBR. I haven’t read any Alice Oseman but I’m always hearing amazing things about her work. 🙂

  4. I absolutely loved I Wish You All the Best! As well as Red, White, & Royal Blue and The Hate U Give. I still haven’t read Solitaire, but Radio Silence by Alice Oseman is one of my favorite books of all time.
