Book Haul #44 / More and More Books

Hello I am Annemieke and I have a problem…

Reading Challenge(64)

Kings of the Wyld (The Band 1) by Nicholas Eames
Tongues of Serpents (Temeraire 6) by Naomi Novik
Crubicle of Gold (Temeraire 7) by Naomi Novik
There was a book market in Zwolle at the start of the month where I found these three beauties. Tongues of Serpents is a hardcover that is a bit damaged but it was fine for that price. I now have 1 to 7 of the Temeraire series. Two more to go~

Half a War (Shattered Sea 3) by Joe Abercrombie
Anderwereld had gotten this one and I had to have it. I bought the second book in hc from them too and now I have the whole trilogy. This one is signed too!

Of Blood and Bone (Chronicles of the One 2) by Nora Roberts
Darksoul (Godblind 2) by Anna Stephens
Dolores Dolly Poppedijn by Thomas Olde Heuvelt
The first two are Dutch translations. I bought them even though with both I haven’t read the first book yet. But I try and buy series I want to see continued translated when I can. Dolores is the  gift of the thrilling week this year.

Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson
So many people have been raving about this beauty (but mainly Aimal from Bookshelves & Paperbacks) and with the promise of a library I could not resist.

Die Duftapotheke (Duftapotheke 1) by Ana Ruhe = READ
I got this cute MG from my mom when we visited this month. I loved it.

Gumiho (Wicked Fox 1) by Kat Cho
Spin the Dawn (The Blood of Stars 1) by Elizabeth Lim
Girls of Paper and Fire (Girls of Paper and Fire 1) by Natasha Ngan
So hello I visited my local bookstore after they had just restocked the English section and came home with 3 books… I am super curious about all three though. I’ve had my eye on Girls of Paper and Fire for a while but found the bigger paperback a bit expensive.

Thorn by Intisar Khanani
Release Date: March 24th 2020
And lastly my big pride of this whole haul is the arc of Thorn. Intisar was lovely enough to send this my way for bookstagram purposes and I can’t wait to read it. You can see the cover reveal I did for it here.

Reading Challenge(63)

The Tea Dragon Festival (Tea Dragon 2) by Katie O’Neill = READ
Release Date: September 17th 2019
Oh I was approved for this beauty ❤
Coral by Sara Ella
Release Date: November 12th 2019
Mental health in a little mermaid retelling. Yes please. Again approved on NG
The Absinthe Earl (The Faerie Rehistory 1) by Sharyn Lynn Fisher
Release Date: October 15th 2019
NG. A little out of my comfort zone. However it also has elements that I find really interesting in the synopsis which is why I really want to give this one a chance.
The Murders of Molly Southbourne (Molly Southbourne 1) by Tade Thompson  = READ
Tor Free Ebook of June.

  1. Hello Annemieke. My name is Tânia and I also have a problem. =P I guess bookworms will always be bookworms. 😉 You got so many amazing books! I hope you enjoy Spin the Dawn as much as I did – I enjoyed it so much that I also got a physical copy after receiving an e-ARC.

I’m so happy you received a physical e-ARC of Thorn. I’m dying to read it once again and see what might have changed.

    Happy readings! 😉
