Time to Freak Out! / Mid-Year Book Freak Out 2019

Lets get our freak on with the mid-year book freak out in which it is time to look back at the first half of this year. I like using these questions to get a bit of a glimpse on that first half. And along with that I like to have a quick look on how I am coming along with my reading challenges. Plus I got tagged by Melanie and Mireile from TBR and Beyond. Check out their answers here. I also got tagged by Tânia from My Lovely Secret. You can read her answers here.

Reading Challenges

So to start of I am not starting with a reading challenge but with something I noticed in my statistics. Last year I read about the same amount of books be male and female authors. A bit more females but pretty near by. So far this year however 70% of the books has been by female authors. That is quite a lot. I’m not complaining to be honest. I like that I seem to be mostly gravitating towards female authors.

  1. ‘The Ninth Rain’ would be on my list as well 🙂 Such a clever book! And I love the characters too, especially Noon!

That’s sad that ‘The Ship of Smoke and Steel’ was disappointing! I haven’t read anything by the author yet, but the books all sound so cool 😀 He will probably stay on my wishlist for a bit longer
