Reading Challenge(2)

⌘ Eh I’ve been better? Mental health wasn’t too stellar at the start of the month. Lets keep it at that.

⌘ The car went back to the garage and they didn’t charge because they couldn’t find it. The motor light is out now (and came back on 2 weeks later lesigh). They said since its such an old car (nearing 20) we should ask ourselves how much money we still want to pump in it.

⌘ I have worried mom things regarding Merijn. I won’t go into it because it is an ongoing process but I’ll share at some point.

⌘ We went to two zoo’s this month. One was the Apenheul where there are free roaming Monkeys in part of the zoo. The other one was Beekse Bergen where you can take your car and go through a safari zone (there might be giraffes that lick your car, its happened to us a few times). But there is also a boat and a bus and you can go on foot as well.  Merijn enjoyed it all of course.

⌘ Thank you for 1200 followers lovelies. ❤

Reading Challenge(4)

what I watched may 2019.png

Eurovision 2019
The Netherlands won~

Sherlock Holmes / Movie / Rewatch

Dr. Pol / Season 8 / Completed
I love this from origin Dutch vet.

Scooby Doo and the Curse of the 13th Ghost / Movie
I was excited when I saw this in the store because back in the day I loved watching the 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo. This is attached to that. But the plot was incredibly stupid to be honest. They could have come up with something else and I don’t think they thought well enough on the various chemistry between characters. I did however love that Fred went to cheerleading camp.

Reading Challenge(7)

⌘ Well I will be doing the sims-a-thon as I posted about. We’ll see how far I get. I don’t expect to read a huge amount though. We are heading into Summer and that means a bit more activity with the toddler.

Reading Challenge(8)

This monthly wrap up will be linked up with the monthly one by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction. This so we can blog hop to each others wrap ups easier.

  1. I am overdue a check-in on how my Dance with Books is going – and I better get the second half of my prompt suggestions finished! You’re making amazing progress 🙂

    1. Slowly but surely now haha. Its not going as fast as it did at the start of the year but it will do. I’m planning on a mid-year check in 2 weeks or so

  2. Your ability to read and write so much continues to impress me! Hope June is a better month for you and Merijn. The zoos sound nice, though. ♥

  3. I just saw the sims-a-thon circulating on Twitter. I’m terrible when it comes to readathons, but I hope you end up enjoying. I hope June ends up being a good mental health month for you and that whatever is going on with your little one, you get clarity sooner rather than later. Wishing you the best going into June!

  4. Thanks for sharing my post, lovely. Congrats on 1,200 followers! And I feel like it’s a mom’s job to worry about mom things, but I hope you and your little are doing well, despite whatever’s going on. The Sims-A-Thon is … not what I expected. I’m hopelessly addicted to Sims, but tying it to books is a really neat take on it! Hope you enjoy the readathon. 🙂

  5. I love that Merijn loves zoos so much! 🐒

Hopefully more sunny weather will help everyone’s mood. I was upset that we had to close the windows again because the fresh air is my favorite thing, but then again… I don’t like extreme heat either. 🙈

Here’s to June being not too cold, not too rainy, and not too hot! 💜✨

  7. We love going to zoos and end up spending hours and hours every time, even though we’ve been there many times before. I have Wildcard to read and really need to move it up on my pile. I hope June is going better for you health and sleep wise.
