Book Haul

As Travars // Unboxing Letters & Lights January Box // #wyrdandwonder

So Annemieke, why are you unboxing a January box in May? Well it is good that you asked. You see this box was of January but the owner of Letter & Lights, Emmy, still had a few on hand and did a short weekend sale on them at the start of May. I jumped on that because I’d had my eye on this box since I first saw it. At the time however I was not allowed to purchase said box.

And what better month to share with you guys what was in this box than May, the month of Wyrd and Wonder and all things fantasy. Because this box is based on the Shades of Magic trilogy by V.E. Schwab.

Letters & Lights is a Dutch bookish web shop by Emmy, Dutch book blogger over on Zon en Maan. She creates lots of bookish candles and book marks. She ships all over Europe so if you like what you see in this unboxing, go check out her web shop. At the bottom of the site there is a translate button!

A quick glance into the box.

The other side of the leaflet on top. It has two first bits of books by Dutch/Belgian authors and a bookmark for a book by a Dutch author.

So as I said, this box has been out for a while so I knew what was in it. And this was why I bought it mostly. This gorgeous pillow case. I really love this side.

I love this side slightly less but it is Kell so…

Then of course there are three mini candles in it. Lila, Kell and Anosh.

The inside of the candles. They all smell lovely.

A quote card of Lila

Two book marks! A ribbon with Kells coat and I think it might be Lila? It is Lila.

Lovely box overall. I am just really happy with the pillow case. ā¤

What would be your favorite item from this box?

  1. Hallo, Hallo Annemieke,

I really *love!* the card that talks about going on adventures rather than standing still?! I happen to identify with that one because I love collecting experiences & adventures – you just never know where you’re going to become INSPIRED or what you’re going to learn – there is so much to SEE out in the world why place limits on yourself!? Truly a beautifully lovely card!

I love these unboxings — I hope in the future to have several scripts myself to different boxes and get the JOY of having posts like this on my blog one day. I did get to experience it once though – when I hosted the Coswalds blog tour – I did my unboxing via still photography and it was wicked exciting!!!

    What as your favourite bit?!

    1. It is a great card!

Its great to unbox a box. I’ve done a few of Dutch subscription boxes and then of this specific business with just the items. Its great fun to find out what people put in there and how people were inspired.

My favorite is for sure the pillow. My son likes it too though and claims it on occasion haha.
