While I do enjoy getting this books that are hyped or that are getting a ton of postive reviews right before and after release, something it can be nice to pick something up that you know very little about. That hadn’t gotten a lot of attention. In 2018 I had a few of these kind of reads. A lot through Netgalley to be honest. And some of these surprise me by how little ratings they have.
I’m planning this post in at the end of December so some of these books might have gotten a bit more ratings than I am putting down below. Be aware of that. This list goes from highest to lowest ratings.
