Some Books I Read in 2018 With Less Than 2000 Ratings / #TopTenTuesday 176

While I do enjoy getting this books that are hyped or that are getting a ton of postive reviews right before and after release, something it can be nice to pick something up that you know very little about. That hadn’t gotten a lot of attention. In 2018 I had a few of these kind of reads. A lot through Netgalley to be honest. And some of these surprise me by how little ratings they have.

I’m planning this post in at the end of December so some of these books might have gotten a bit more ratings than I am putting down below. Be aware of that. This list goes from highest to lowest ratings.

This post is being linked up with Top Ten Tuesday (hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl) as they have the topic books i loved with fewer than 2000 ratings.

Toil & Trouble. Edited Jessica Spotswood and Tess Sharpe / 1603 Ratings

The Amulet of Samarkand (The Graphic Novel) by Jonathan Stroud / 1184 Ratings

The Little Shop of Found Things by Paula Brackston / 936 Ratings

The Many Worlds of Albie Bright by Christopher Edge / 837 Ratings

Deadly Sweet (Spellwork Syndicate 1) by Lola Dodge / 267 Ratings

How to Fracture a Fariytale by Jane Yolen / 175 Ratings

City of Broken Magic (Chronicles of Amicae 1) by Mirah Bolender / 91 Ratings

The Demon Race by Alexandria Warwick / 25 Ratings

Fell Beasts and Fair Edited by C.J. Brightley / 12 Ratings

Ewan Pendle and the Castle of Nightmares (Ewan Pendle 2) by Shaun Hume / 4 Ratings

  1. Great list! I need to get to Toil & Trouble soon, it’s right up my street so the next time I’m in the mood for some short stories I need to pick it up.
