THE BOY WHO STEALS HOUSES now that is a unique title. One good thing about doing this activity, now I am really excited about a few upcoming books. Since I usually don’t pay attention to releases this is a new position for me. Hope you get to read a few of your anticipated books. My Anticipated Releases

I’m really excited to read Courting Darkness and King of Scars too! Please remind me to read Lake Silence, because I can’t believe I’m behind on The Others and not prepared for the release of Wild Country…

I shall poke you every week since today? 😉 On the one hand I am so curious for Courting Darkness. But also I haven’t read the original trilogy :O

Yes!! I think it might be best to read the original first, because I think Courting Darkness follows the same character as one of the original books? Not entirely sure though!

I appreciate that you separated your categories by stand alone or series. I tend not to start a series until all of the books are out. I hate waiting! haha

This I completely understand haha. I need to do that more often.

I’m so curious about Ship of Smoke and Steel, I hope it’s good! I need to catch up on Anne Bishop, I never read Lake Silence last year, I love the world of The Others. I hadn’t been too interested in Slayer, but I’ve been seeing more and more good reviews, so maybe I need to jump on that train!

Right? It just looks so good.
And Lake Silence was really good. Different but still good.

I’d be here all day if I mentioned how many of these are on my list too LOL We Hunt the Flame, Song of the Dead, Wicked King! Also, I’ve read Slayer and Curse So Dark and really enjoyed both. Hope you do as well!

I hope you like them all! I’m really bad at keeping up with new releases, so I haven’t seen of most of these before.

I mean, I end up not even reading 50% of new releases with these posts most of the time haha. So I kind of do too.

This is the first I’ve heard of The Wise and the Wicked – just from what I see here, it sounds like something I would like.

I totally forgot to put The Boy Who Steals Houses on my list! But you have some others that I hadn’t seen yet as well… I’ll have to check them out. I think my TBR has doubled with this prompt… and it was already huge!

Haha right? Bad prompt. 😀

Great lists! So many of these are on my wishlists!!!
a curse so dark and lonely isn’t technically a stand alone though. There’s a sequel coming our way – Brigid announced it’s title yesterday ❤ It'll be focused a bit more on the Grey character but the main characters of book 1 are also a lot present as well to my understanding – they promote it as a sequel 🙂
I'm really excited about Sherwood, Ship of Smoke and Steel, Defy the Fates, Courting Darkness and Crown of Feathers!

I know. When I wrote this post (november) this wasn’t known yet though and I haven’t had the time since to go through everything again. I had done that 5 times by december haha.

I want to read ALL the same standalones as you basically! I love seeing Cait’s book on people’s lists of course, and FINALLY someone else who is excited about The Test, yayyy! I cannot believe I forgot Defy the Fates, ughhh what is wrong with meeee? Very excited for that one too! (Also I am ridiculously impressed that you wrote this in NOVEMBER, how even!?!)

I’m slightly less excited for The Test since the third Themis Files book kind of fell meh for me but I’m still really curious to see how he will write that book.

I went to look at The Wise and the Wicked summary on Goodreads, and then I went to see if it was on Netgalley or Edelweiss, and I forgot to come back! 😱 It’s cover is lovely! 😍 Thanks for the heads up! 👍✨✨
King of Scars! I have to get Ruin and Rising read, and the Six of Crows books. I have the ebook of the first of the duology. 📚

Wow wow wow! There are SO MANY great books coming out in 2019! I can never keep up with all the upcoming releases. I, too, love waiting for this TTT theme, but I never participate. Instead, I just add a ton of book to my own TBR after people have shared their lists. XD From yours I’ve added Slayer, Last of Her Name and The Wise and the Wicked.
Thanks for sharing! I cannot wait to hear what you think of these books as you acquire them.

Hahaha The Wise and the Wicked seems to be one most weren’t too familiar with. Interesting. And I completely understand not keeping up. It is hard to keep up with them all. I’m sure I missed a bunch I will still end up reading, 😀

Of course! That’s one of the best parts of being a book blogger — everyone keeps talking about amazing new books, so we keep adding them to our own TBRs! XD They never end.

Ik probeer me een beetje in te houden in een poging om mijn tbr toch een beetje in te tomen maar A curse so dark and lonely en Wild Country gaan hier sowieso aan de collectie worden toegevoegd hoor. Daar kan ik echt niet aan weerstaan.
