⌘ We finally got the contract for Merijn to go to pre-school. He is starting on January 7th! He will go two mornings a week and it will be great for him. ❤ We visited briefly one morning this month so we both have seen it before he really starts.

⌘ We finally celebrated Sinterklaas on December 9th. It was fun but exhausting with Merijn who kept wanted to unwrap all the present before anyone got the chance to see who it was for haha. I got this gorgeous Hogwarts pillow cover. ❤

⌘ Since Merijn is starting pre-school next year my parents wanted Merijn to stay with them for a week in December which he did. He brought him on Monday and we went there on Saturday so that was quite a long while.

⌘ I decided to start running. I know. I don’t know what came over me haha. Once/Twice a week because with Merijn I can’t quite fit it in more at the moment. Maybe once he goes to pre-school I can do a solid twice a week. We’ll see. I have a program and I use a friends start to run files so it is like 2 minutes running, 2 minutes walking. I’m taking it slow so sometimes I repeat a program part the next time again. It is not about how quick I can get up to 30 minutes of running. It is that I am doing it.

I made a blog roll page. Go check it out.

⌘ The weekend before Christmas I kind of got sick. I lost my voice and was so, so tired. On the Monday I got a bit of voice back but then it felt like all the slime went downwards towards my lungs and I got a pressure on the chest and an ugly cough. The cough I still have. The pressure on my chest comes and goes. It is probably from the coughing. Annoying though, especially in the middle of the night.

Reading Challenge(4)

Jordskott / Season 1 / Ep 6-10 / Finished
I really ended up enjoying this season as a whole and I have a planned in post where I go further into it.

Incredibles 2 / Movie
Husband bought this on dvd and we watched it. It was good. Solid, like the first. I’ll need to rewatch the two movies back to back sometime though.

The Witches / Movie
Technically I saw this when I was younger but since it was so many years ago I remembered little of it. It is kind of scary for the kids.

Albert / Movie
I think I might have seen this movie 5 times on nick jr. Blergh. Making a movie out of a tiny tree wanting to be the big christmas tree…

Santa Baby / Movie
I woke myself coughing and I couldn’t get back to sleep. This was on so I watched it. It wasn’t spectacular but I lked how the daughter of Santa was so strong willed.

Rewatched: Up / Zootropolis / Monster University

    1. Finger crossed. With the bad coughing and chest I haven’t been able to in two weeks. Hopefully I can get started again on Sunday. I think I like it because I can do it alone just fine. 🙂

  1. Oh my! You had a very busy month! And good for you to start running! It’s like the good resolutions some weeks ahead. Have a Happy New Year Annemieke!

    1. Somehow I doubt that. 😉 I do value high productivity in myself with the blog haha. But in reality I needed to replace almost all the photos from flickr (because of their changes in free accounts) and I have made zero dent in that.

    1. I hope so too! I never thought I’d run either and then it just kind of took off in my head in November. So weird. Not that I am planning on being able to run a marathon or anything. Just running 10 minutes straight at this point would be an achievement. 😉

  2. I love Harry Potter merch and this pillow cover is beautiful. Best of luck with running. I never thought I’d be a runner (except if a bear was chasing me), but I gave it a try and never looked back. Exercise has made me healthier and happier. 202 books is amazing! Best of luck in 2019!

  4. Nice, 200 books!! Woop woop!

Here’s to another great year of reading next year. Hope the pre-school thing opens up some time for you to run, or just read more. 🙂 Mine is 6 now and in school, but wow I remember what a difference it made when she started going off to be social during the day.

    Best of luck!

    1. Yes I am planning on maybe doing a second run on one of those mornings. And luckily grandpa has said that most fridays Merijn can still come to him as well starting next week. Imagine all that free time. :0

    1. It is a weird feeling, because hello how big has he become, but mostly I am excited for him. I think he really needs the social interactions. Is your little one in preschool or going to go?

      1. Ugh that is terrible. 😦 Home schooling is the best then yeah. That is something we don’t have to worry about here and it must be so hard that you have to keep an eye on those things as well.

    1. Same.
