November was a bit of a weird month but certainly better than October I’d say. Working on my mental health and having Merijn taking naps every now and then again really does help. Reading wise I kind of fell behind but one can only do so much, you know.

⌘ Things started up and down. We returned from picking up Merijn at my parents. The drive was hell. It took an hour and a half more and it became clear Merijn becomes car sick after 2 hours of travelling. I got some tablets now so we shall see how they help…
⌘ Husband decided it was time for something fun on the fourth and we went to a zoo in Rhenen. Merijn loved it and was so happy to walk around and see all the animals. He hated being put in the stroller but he got so tired after a while haha.
⌘ Flickr has decided that their free accounts only can have 1000 photos starting next year and anything extra will be deleted so I am going to have to move around a lot of blog photos. My computer was also almost full, ugh. We ended up buying an external harddrive to put the photos of Merijn on and possibly also some from the blog. I am working on saving the photos from flickr. Once that is all done I will start uploading them again and replacing the photos. Right now I am using Imgur for upcoming blog posts, but I’m not sure yet if I am staying there. I don’t expect to be done before January so you might encounter some broken images in later posts for a bit. I’m planning on having a semi-hiatus month in February so I don’t have to work out so many posts and I can focus on fixing that for a bit next year. And sort through my Merijn photos too.
⌘ Merijn had a bit of a viral infection the week husband was free from work (of course). He mostly had a fever at nights though. It left him with a cough. Of course I was the next victim the week after where I lost my voice and had a fever in the nights. Luckily family took Merijn for 3 days so I could just rest up which was good for the voice. It last a full week.
⌘ Sinterklaas came on November 17th to the Netherlands again. It is a children’s holiday and you can read more about it here. Merijn is still to young to really understand it but seeing Sinterklaas come with his boat was a very exciting experience for him. So much so he fell asleep during dinner that evening. #neverhappenedbefore
⌘ Merijn has been napping in the car or in the stroller. Which is just really nice. I can transfer him to the couch, put a blanket over him and he’l sleep for 2 hours. It helps so much, for his mood and mine.
⌘ I started the mindfit therapy and we are slowly making progress. We’ll see where it all ends up.
⌘ My parents stayed with us for a week at the end of November. Which meant little alone time for me. My dad tiled our little hallway before our toilet. So that is looking nice now. Husband just has to finish the doors, the painting and the ceiling.

Husband and I watched a little more. This season is still meh for me.
⌘ Jordskott / Season 1 / Ep 1-5
I started this last year but then stopped. I felt like restarting it and finally finishing this first season.
⌘ Fantastic Beasts 2: The Crimes of Grindelwald / Movie
I love Newt. I love the fantastic beasts. I love Credence (though not so much in this movie). I hate the plot. There is so much wrong with the plot, it is killing me.

⌘ This month I just want to get to 200 books in total. I’m hoping to start a Robin Hobb book and read Lord of Shadows with Books Ever After (goodreads group). Other than that I also just want to read some Christmas books I have saved up.
⌘ Next to that I am just hoping for a quiet month to be honest haha. We do have the sinterklaas family celebration on the 8th. And we haven’t really decided what we are doing with Christmas. New Year we usually spend at home with our cat that gets scared of fireworks and with Merijn obviously.
This monthly wrap up will be linked up with the monthly one by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction. This so we can blog hop to each others wrap ups easier.
Thanks for the shout out! Oh my gosh, Merijn is so cute! Hope you have a lovely month😊

Sounds like you did make progress this months (reading and life-wise!). My daughter is six (she is in groep 3) and has been very emotional this past month. She is going to have confidence coaching. She is doing well in school, but has a meltdown as soon as she thinks she cannot do something. Kids! Thanks for the mention 😉

Nice wrap up! I’m struggling with my mental health as well at the moment. It’s probably because of the weather and the fact that it’s crazy busy. I hope you wil win this war against it!

Yeah this period never seems to help. I don’t mind the cold but the gray skies blergh.
I hope you will too dear. ❤

I never heard of Jordskott before but it looks like something i'd totally like. Scandi series and books are my go-to entertainment for the winter season 😀

It is really interesting. I keep wondering what is even going on but that is the appeal of it too.

The photos problem is such a big thing… I personally use pinterest right now but that may not be viable in the future. Good luck getting everything sorted. Sounds like your November was great, I love the zoo too! Happy reading. ❤

Ugh it is so hard and so much work. I’m slowly dying here just thinking about it. I’m currently trying out imgur and us (mainly this for bulk uploads I’ll have to do). And I’ll see what I like to use I guess. Fingers crossed I won’t have this again next year haha.

Will you be writing a review for Invictus? I’m still hesitating with that one. Everyone is pretty meh about it. Hope you have a happy December!

I don’t think I will. It was just average and I don’t actually have that much to say about it which I think says enough.

I hear that. There were a couple of 3 star reads I had this year that I just didn’t feel motivated enough to write a review about.

Great wrap-up. It’s nice to see what’s going on behind the scenes with different bloggers. I didn’t think to write anything about my kids in my wrap-up but all 5 of them are doing well and excited for Christmas.

Thanks. Yes I like seeing that all as well. I’m glad your kids are doing great. 😀

I’m so happy to hear you are storing your precious photos on an external hard drive. I made the huge mistake of keeping mine on my laptop of 7 years. When it died, it took all my vacation, family, pet photos with it. Nothing left. We also love visiting the zoo and always spend the entire day there. Great job on your Goodreads challenge too!

Oh no that sucks so much. 😦 I’m sorry. I don’t think I would have if I hadn’t had this situation with flickr so I guess I should be happy for that reason, a little bit haha.

Glad to hear you’ve been feeling a bit better ❤ Looks like you did have some fun events this month, even if there were some less fun events in there too. I haven't seen The Crimes of Grindelwald yet, but I'm getting more and more hesitant to watch it since I haven't seen too many good reviews yet. Hope you'll have an awesome December!

Thank you. ❤ Yeah I can understand being hesitant. With the previous movie the feedback was for the most part good but now everything is a bit eh.

Time is flying, right? I am always so unorganized during this month with the blog haha. I also didn’t comment on some wrap ups until around the 13th. I’m curious what you will think of white stag!
Still 4 to go!

Oh echt he. Ik had dat altijd toen ik nog klein was. Werd ik ziek als we sint, kerst of paas viering hadden op school. Zucht.
Oh gelijkspel zou ook wel heel goed zijn!
