In every book we read we come across many different characters with each vastly different names. Some we like, some we don’t. We all have our own preferences. Which is why That Artsy Reader Girl chose this as this week’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt I am sure.
Last year we had a similar prompt where I shared names and characters I would use for a possible other child (though unlikely as that is). In most cases I liked these characters and of course their names enough to possibly use the name for a child. In other cases just the name, haha. This time I am choosing it a bit differently and I am sharing some characters names I think would fit well for pets!

I am pretty sure I used the pet angle last year when we did the name topic. I love the names you picked. I really really really want to name our next puppy Stoker. I also like the name Barlow from Salem’s Lot.

Haha yeah sometimes we have to twist these re occuring ones. Oh Stoker would be excellent as well!

This was a great take on the prompt! If I ever get my backyard chickens I am definitely naming one Quill Kipps! 🐔
We are thinking about getting two guinea pigs and Zu and Zaphod would be great names, but we are seriously not getting a male! I follow a few G-piggie accounts on Instagram and their balls are so big they drag on the floor behind them. Gross! Ha ha. 😝

Haha I would to see that. 😀
Oh my gosh ew. Nothing wrong with calling a female Zaphod 😉

I love all of these! We just got a puppy and my daughter named her Winnie. I tell myself in my mind that it’s after Winnie in Scoring the Billionaire just so I can have a dog named after a book character.

Ah that is so cute. Winnie is a great name. And hey, Winnie the pooh is also in book form so winning from two books. 😉
