One of the things I started doing a few years ago was making a big wishlist of books for my birthday and Christmas. That way I still have some control on what I get but I don’t know what. My husband wouldn’t know what books to pick anyway, haha. And books is what I usually only ask for anyway. I do have a few dvd’s on the list at the moment though. Below you will find some of the books on it.

Forest of a Thousand Lanterns is one I want to get to, and I keep seeing City of Brass pop up and it looks interesting as well. Some nice folklore/ mythology in that one, looks like.

Eeep I hope you get the ADSOM collector’s edition!! I’m tossing up asking for it for my birthday because it’s sooo pretty but I feel bad buying it when I already have a copy.😂

I have A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab on my Christmas wish list too, but I didn’t put it on my TTT because there were just too many books to list. Here’s hoping you are surprised with some wonderful books! And I always just have clothes and books on my Christmas and Birthday lists. 🙂

I also have the bookish wish list for my birthday and Christmas – it’s perfect for everybody as people immediately know what to get me, and I’m still surprised but I know I’ll love it so it’s a win-win 🙂 The Shades of Magic collector’s edition is such a good idea, I may have to add it to my list as well 😉 Hope you’ll find some of these under your tree. I see SO MANY beautiful things on this list! I would honestly die to get any of these for Christmas! Have you seen the Collector’s Book for A Darker Shade of Magic? That ADSOM edition is THE DREAM!!! I am so excited about finishing that series, but you’re so right about lusting for that cover and special content!! It is 100% more beautiful than the original ones. I think the dark background suits better!

I don’t get books for Christmas, so I only ask for other stuff. I’m getting a phone this year. I hope you get all these!

Oooh these are great choices! I always put books on my wishlist, but then my mom is always like “I don’t just want to buy you BOOKS”. But… I want them! Hhaha. Hope you get lots of these this year!

Excellent list!! All very good choices and I hope that Santa follows through with some of them (otherwise you might have to take matters into your own hands and by yourself a couple of bookish Christmas presents)

Wel het viel me onlangs weer eens op dat ik over andere items veel langer moet nadenken. Mijn schoonouders vroegen onlangs of ik nog tips had en toen bedacht ik me dat de meeste dingen die ik wil boeken zijn of boekgerelateerde spulletjes. Die laatste zijn dan weer vaak online te bestellen en daar zijn mijn schoonouders niet mee bezig dus die vallen al snel af. Ook toen ik Emmy’s niet boekige wenslijstje zag dacht ik meteen dat ik zo geen lijst zou kunnen vullen. Douchegel koop ik wanneer ik hem nodig heb, ik gebruik geen kostelijke verzorgingsproducten, vergeet steeds om parfum op te doen, …Films of cd’s wil ik nog wel eens vragen maar ook daar zou ik nu al serieus over moeten nadenken vermits ik er steeds minder koop. Boeken daarentegen. 😉

Haha ja same dus. Ik heb wel wat series die ik wil zien maar als ik moet kiezen tussen een tv show of een boek gaat het boek momenteel toch voor haha. Ik heb echt nog een ladig aan douchegel en parfum staan… Toen we dit huis kochten heb ik eens vaak douchegel in de uitverkoop gekocht en parfum vergeet ik dus ook altijd.

Oh, I haven’t seen the ADSOM collectors edition! I will have to Google it. I have mostly books on the list Baz has too, but there is Burts Bees lip balm and my favorite guitar picks. 🎁

The forest of a thousand lanterns is a book that Santa has actually brought me this year. Very excited to see if it is as beautiful as its cover!
