TTT #81 Favorite Photos From My Bookstagram in 2016

Something I like doing from time to time, though I don’t think I am particulary good at it, is taking bookish photos. Now I am not one to display out lots of decorations along with the book though I love admiring those others take like that. But personally I like to take simple pictures. I just don’t have the eye to make a photo look pretty with so many items.

I just love the feeling of being able to display a favorite book in a pretty photo or to show a gorgeous cover. Or both. And instagram is a great medium to do that. It houses a big bookstagram community. I like how easy it is to communicate, like twitter in a way but with photos. It can also easily show a glimpse of someone’s life.

So for this week’s top ten tuesday I decided that I would take this freebie to look back on some of my favorite posted photos to my bookstagram from 2016. My 2016 in bookish photos, haha.

So here we go.

      1. God, no. Two years of sleep torture. It’s probably the #1 reason I only have one kid. I don’t think we could have done it again. She woke up like 4 times a night and took only 20 minute naps. But now she’s an awesome sleeper.

  2. Well, your photos might be minimalist, but your composition is wonderful and your use of color is stellar. I took three semesters of photography and a film/photography style and composition class, so you can trust my judgement! The Darkest Part Of the Forest pic is fantastic. What is that red leafy plant in your backyard? And Merijn! 😍

Kindle does not have a proper IG app so I missed the Thanksgiving photo tag! Thank you, lovely. I took a screen shot of it to use in my blogversary month wrap up post. 💜
