Meet Merijn
Born 26th of August
My natural home birth didn’t happen. I was in the hospital for 4+ days for inducing and because inducing didn’t work I ended up having a c-section as there was no other way for Merijn to be born. So I am slowly recovering from the effects from that (which will probably be a good 6 weeks as they keep telling me). I haven’t really made a lot of time for the blog or interaction as you might understand. Also I have maternity care until today so I don’t feel comfortable working on the blog, haha.
I hope you all are well. I’ll start making attempts to catch up on some things next week.

Merijn is so CUTE! You did good little mama. He is beautiful and healthy. I think everyone will cut you some slack in the blogging department! Having a baby is a big thing and having the c-section only adds to the energy depletion. Hugs all around for you and Merijn. ❤ ❤ ❤

Yeah I think a lot of people underestimate how invasive a c-section really is. But I hope I won't need the full six weeks to be properly back on my feet.
