The Sunday post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. This is a bit of a recap post of the week where you can link to the posts you made this week, share news, and even what you have been reading. Some categories might change per Sunday.

Personal
The past two weeks I’ve been struggling a bit with sleeping. So that has been getting to my mood. The baby is getting more active and you can see my stomach move when he or she kicks hard. I do need to take better care of myself. I almost fainted in the book store of all places.
On the plus we did get some baby stuff while my parents were here. But I ate too much pie, haha. We also went out to dinner to thank my parents for some of the expensive baby stuff they got us.
Other than that I’ve been home alone. Maarten has to work a lot. I did reorganize the book shelves downstairs, my main shelves, and I made some more room for new books. Woohoo. I also am trying to make a daily planner of things I’d like to do in the mornings so I have time to read and such in the afternoon. I’m most energetic in the morning and otherwise I would do too much. So taking things easy. I think Monday will also be my blogging day. Though last Monday that went terribly slow as I had some heavy image posts to make.
Saturday night we are going to see The Jungle Book (as this was planned in Saturday afternoon). So I am excited and I hope it is amazing.
Annoyingly on the book haul front, I had pre ordered Flamecaster. But it didn’t arrive once it was released. After calling them we later got an email that it won’t be delivered until April 22nd. Hear me weep. :_:
April 23rd I’ll be participating in Dewey’s Read-a-Thon, mostly on my Twitter or Instagram. Are any of you doing it? Hopefully Flamecaster will arrive on time for this…

#TBRTakedown 3.5
Last weekend it was time for a short tbrtakedown. I had never participated in this read-a-thon before. Like you all know my reading hasn’t been as before since I’ve been pregnant so I want to use a few read-a-thons to hopefully kick my ass into reading more.
If you have any tips on read-a-thons that are happening in the near future, let me know. I prefer short ones at the moment. Those that are only a few days. I know of Dewey’s 24 hour read-a-thon, RYBSAT round 8 and the Dutch Blossom Books read-a-thon. Anyway here is my wrap-up for this specific read-a-thon.

Reorganizing book shelves can be fun, or maybe it’s just a book blogger thing. lol. Hope The Jungle Book is good- after seeing trailers I think it looks fun and I want to see it too. I hope they did a good job with it.
Good luck w/ the readathon!

A book lover thing 😉 But I think that people who like to organize in general would like it as well, haha. I thought the Jungle Book was great!
Thanks. 🙂

I love thons. Your baby bump is so adorable. You may never sleep well again…especially the first year. I am up at 3 am with leg pain myself..hence the typing and commenting, I have fun organizing my shelves and always feel delighted despite the hard work. Hope you are able to enjoy some naps or at least rest with a good book.

Read-a-thon’s are great. And thank you. 🙂
Yeah, I keep hearing that. Hopefully for the next while the sleeping will get a bit better so I can prepare for what is to come. 😉
Naps and I don’t get along unfortunately.

Love the picture – baby + books! perfection 🙂 Except that both seem to contribute to sleeplessness.. And – I’d never even heard of a Read-a-Thon before reading your post – ! Definitely something to put on my bookish to-do list 🙂 Thank you!

Perfect combination!
You should definitely look into doing one. They are pretty great.

Sorry to hear you’re not sleeping…. it can make everything seem horrible. But I’m with Kimberly – the bump is very cute. I’m glad you got some baby shopping done though – hopefully that’s a weight off your mind!
Good luck on all of the challenges and read-a-thons!

Thank you. 🙂 Planning things out and having most of the big things out of the way does help a bit.

Oh that baby bump is adorable. Sorry you fainted though. Same happened to me. My blood pressure used to be too low during pregnancy. Pie is the way to go! Tons of it! Ugh anout Flamecaster. Hope u get tons of blogging tomorrow

Mine is apparently perfect at every check-up. But I think in my case it was because I hadn’t had enough to drink that day. Low blood pressure is difficult to have though.
Pie ❤ But I am resisting, haha
I am about 2 weeks ahead. Go me~

I really miss the whole baby moving about stage, I was totally freaked the first time it happened and as I got bigger when you could see a foot on your belly it was so strange but it was an incredible feeling.
I fainted at an antenatal class during my first pregnancy, take care of yourself!

The baby moving is so weird! The oddest feeling, especially when he/she kicks high in my stomach. I feel those the best.
Doing my best. 🙂

Image heavy posts take FOREVER to make. Discussion posts are so much simpler for me! I’ve also been wanting to make a schedule for my day though because it seems I never get anything done, but it’s so much easier said than done, the whole schedule thing.
Feel better and enjoy The Jungle Book!

Discussion posts can be pretty quick when some inspiration is present. Image heavy are so annoying because everything takes ages to load. 😦
It is easier said than done. There is always something that changes things around. But so far it’s helped.
The Jungle Book is great!

Grab all the sleep you can now. It’ll be a thing of the past once your little one arrives:) I dread organizing my book shelves. I can’t ever seem to decide how to do them and then all the new books just get piled in them wherever there’s room. LOL

I go to bed early to catch some extra when possible since I always wake up early.
Oh I get that. I tend to stare at my book shelves for weeks deciding how to reorganize before actually doing it.

Things do get rough with sleeping in the final months. You need to be taking naps. Can you sleep sitting up? That helped me. I hope you liked The Jungle Book. The trailers I have seen are amazing. Kimba (is having a 24 hour read-a-thon in May. Have a wonderful new week 🙂

Naps and I don’t get along unfortunately. I have to hit such a low point to be able to take a nap during the day. 😦 And I can’t sleep sitting up. My husband can though, lol.
The Jungle Book was great! Really enjoyed it. And I’ll have to look into that one. 🙂

I am glad you are finding ways to take it easy. I know it can be hard though. So much to do! I hope you are able to get some sleep. It gets worse after the baby comes. I was always so horrible when it came to naps. Sleep when the baby sleeps, they say. I never could (unless it was at night). Maybe you will have better luck!
What did you think of the Jungle Book? I would like to see that. I hope you enjoy the read-a-thon! I doubt I will be participating, as much as I would like to. Doing so on the weekends is hard for me. It’s my family time and I hate to take away from my time with them. Maybe when my daughter is older and has no interest in hanging around me all day. 🙂 I tried to participate this last time, but relying on my husband to keep the little one occupied never works out well–unless I leave the house completely.
Anyway, I hope you are having a great week!

I want to do all the things but trying to tell myself I still have enough time to do all the things, haha. Naps and I don’t really get along either so I hope the baby will sleep through the night as quickly as both my husband and I did when we were that age, haha.
I really enjoyed The Jungle Book!
I can understand that. It’s still such a delicate age.
Hope you have a great week as well!

Ha, onze partners hebben dezelfde naam. De voornaam uiteraard, als de naam helemaal hetzelfde was geweest was het waarschijnlijk een beetje vreemd geworden. 🙂

Yay for getting new baby stuff! So lovely that your parents are helping out with all of that 🙂
The readathon sounds fun, maybe I’ll have to take part too! A daily planner sounds like a good idea! My little sister is pregnant too, and she’s trying to do the same thing, especially now that she’s too tired to really leave home too much!
I hope you’re taking it easy and getting plenty of rest!

It is. Let me know if you take part. We can cheer each other on during breaks. 😉
The planner gives a lot of rest to the chaos in my head. 🙂

Thank you so much for mentioning the post! I just watched The Jungle Book last night and I enjoyed it for the most part. As for the preorder of Flamecaster–so sorry to hear. Delayed book mail is the worst :(. I hope you did fine on the read-a-thons!

You’re welcome! I thought The Jungle Book was really good. A lot better than I thought it was going to be. 🙂 I ended up cancelling my pre-order of the hardcover and got the paperback in my local book store. They don’t communicate and I was pretty much over it. Have a good week!
