The Sunday post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. This is a bit of a recap post of the week where you can link to the posts you made this week, share news, and even what you have been reading. Some categories might change per Sunday.

Personal
Like the tittle said. For the most part I just worked a lot. Six days. I only had Friday off. This next week should be better. Only two shifts so far, but I might get a few more. I don’t mind the work itself so much as that everything surrounding it annoys me. I also got my roster for September in which I work a little less.
I’ve been healing from the incident. I didn’t mention this the last time but I had a pretty bad bruise in my face. It’s a lot better now, and people have stopped staring at me haha. My neck is a bit up and down but that was to be expected. The cats are slowly getting used to me working again, as is my husband. His car window got fixed.
On Friday I started having a cold and on Saturday morning my voice became extremely hoarse. I also had a lot of pressure on my ears. I still have that. Unfortunately I had to work Saturday morning, and I still have to work this afternoon and tonight. I have a bit of a history with my voice in the last few years for various reasons, so I also get a bit sad when I lose my voice again. Even though I know it just takes time and rest to get it back now. It also takes so much energy, even when I don’t have to work.
I have two days off though directly after the weekend so hopefully I’ll recover a bit. And I only have two days and about 10 hours to work so far. I hope it will stay like that a bit because I do think I need a bit of rest to recover from the last few weeks. I haven’t really had the chance to do that as I had to work a lot.
Hopefully next week I’ll be able to write a few more reviews and post them. I still have some series reviews I’d like to post, and some older reviews of first books in series I’ll be continuing that I’d also like to post.

I’ll slowly continue to read The Magician King. It’s a big, and not always easy to read book so I’m going to take my time with it.

Awk, I hope you get better soon. 😦 That cold sounds frustrating and the bruise and accident painful. *sends you comforting virtual chocolates* OH OH WAS THE SCORPION RULES GOOD??! I’m ridiculously excited for that book!
Thanks for sharing my post! 😀

Thank you. The rainy weather isn’t really helping, haha. But yeay virtual chocolates!
I saw. I thought it was a bit mediocre unfortunately 😦
And you are welcome! 😀

Sorry to hear you’re not well! And having to work hard (etc) when you’re not 100 percent can be extremely difficult.
I hope the couple of days off help, though it sounds like things are slowing down a little for you anyway!

Thank you. And it was. The person I worked with wasn’t a 100% either so things didn’t go as they should have.
At least for this week. 🙂

I’ve been curious about I Am Number Four, but I’ve never really just broken down and read it. Hope you feel better, and have a great week!

I was curious about it for a while as well. Since I have the books I figured it was about time. It was an enjoyable read for the most part.
Thank you, and same to you. 🙂

I hope you feel better. I really enjoyed I am number 4 but I never got around to reading the rest of the books I hope to someday.

I love seeing how others do their book shelves as well. It’s like being allowed into their own little world, haha.

Thank you. It is. I worked with someone who had stomach pains so here is to hoping I don’t catch whatever she had.
